Audiogame Maker

There's a free tool being developed called the 'audiogame maker' - basically enabling anyone to make their own audiogames without programming skills - it will be coming out in February 2007 (http://www.audiogamemaker.com/ or http://www.game-accessibility.com). It's being developed as part of a project in the Netherlands.

Does anything like this already exist? i.e. where non-programmers can make their own audiogames? I'm guessing there are a fair few text-game generators out there but what about platform audiogames - shoot-'em ups and things like that? I know there were similar plans from 'Sounds Like Fun' (who created Descent into Madness) but don't know if anything else has been developed yet.

Oo! I'm so excited about that. I saw the preview of it on a site and thought it sounded awesome! I can't wait for it to come out! Don't know if there's been something like this out before but I didn't much like "Descent in to madness" lol The game didn't work well once you got to a certain point and the voices sounded really dumb, in my oppinion. But I'd like to try my hand at creating an audio game! hehehehehe My game will be X-rated! lol jk

I will have to check that out myself. I want to create an audio adventure game. I am not sure how or what the premise will be yet, but I want toe kind of stuff that sighted people had in the 80's and 90's. BTW what is the Descent game? What sort of game?

Arrgh! Descent into madness, will cause a Descent into madness. Sometimes straight acting is better that thrying to be scary.. I am sad now because my dream came true as an ugly ugly sad little nightmare. I like the premise, but I am having trouble getting into the game because of poor acting.

The website of the audio game maker is already available.
http://www.audiogamemaker.com/
You can hear a short audio file demostrating how is going to sound like and also the manual is available there. I don't think it is going to be a very easy programme but it is deffinately better than programing lol.

dear posters,
the foundation game accessibility has an complete destroyed offices wing.
now the foundation is currently searching hard for a new location for the operation.
that means the following question.
who know's who the fire has been set on the building?
but i think that's very inportant.
it's destroyed by fire, and the new location will be on the game foundation website as the new information is to be put on the website of www.gameaccessibility.com.
english is not my nature language to me, so please forgive me for the wrong spelling.
in other words:
it's not sure on which date the agm game maker is to be released.
please note that this release of agm is an beta release.
there are some bugs in the executable.
more about this topick can be readed on http://www.audiogames.net.
note.
if the date for the release of agm chame maker changes, i let us know.
have a nice day.
enjoy it.

There has been an update now stating that the program is expected to come sometime this month. I am really looking forward to this also. I have some pretty good ideas for some fighting games.
